Candy corn craft

I printed out a candy corn outline and ripped up orange, yellow and white paper. I gave them the blank paper with a candy corn (so they could remember the order of colors. It turned out really cute!
We sorted and counted (one to one correspondence) using the autumn mix candy. I traced three circles and let them sort first. Then we counted. I let them eat one of each :) I love making math fun to learn!

Fall sticky mats

We used contact paper as our sticky mat and used it to collect items found on our walk. We talked about fall/seasons and different textures of the items found.

Fall learning fun

Felt pumpkin faces (used for fine motor, learning shapes, and even some matching)
Corn kernels with neon snakes in a sensory bucket. We counted snakes, worked on fine motor using different utensils to get the snakes out.
Pumpkin bowling: this activity was definitely for an older crowd. We still had fun using it as a gross motor activity, we ordered the pins by number, and practiced counting!
